So got into an argument with someone and they claim you don't NEED any source of medication for illness because all can be treated by eating healthy and cleaning out your body with water , etc. Is medication needed for certain illnesses?

If you don't mind death and disability, no.
You cannot, for example, successfully treat type 1 diabetes, tuberculosis or bipolar disorder with diet and drinking lots of water.

While a good diet is always good, and unnecessary medications are best avoided, there are many conditions that require medication if you want to continue living a decent life- heart disease, heart failure, mental disorders, certain infections (go to the tropics and try to avoid getting Malaria without preventive medication), hormone and glandular diseases, and many more.

Its proven that cancerous cells can be destroyed on a water fast.
It isnt confirmed as treatment but had worked for some people.
A man actually consumed nothing but water for 40 days, no food no drinks nothing but water and he is still in remission to this day.

how soon do you want to get well?
COLDS don't NEED medication -- they will go away in 4-7 days.
CANCER doesn;'t NEED medication -- you will die in a few molnths anyway. But WITH medication you will lvie LONGER for your family.
But keeping your system "clean" is ALL BULLSH*T, beacsue GERSNM LIEK to lvie in and infect "clean" bodies.
