You're 16 years old and there is no way any doctor will clear you to play football again until you're fully healed ....ACL surgery takes a full year to recover and sometimes longer .... if you rush back chances are you could possibly tear the acl again and that would basically be the end of your playing days ... it's better to be safe and get the knee right. Good luck

Every patient I had that had an ACL repair and then returned to playing football wound up with a recurrent tear and, even after a second repair, a persistent sense of instability of the involved knee. So, if you insist on returning to play football, just realize the risk you are taking.

Actually, many coaches and football teams(non-pro) will not take you back in such a situation.

This is not only an all-too-often-proposed inquiry, it is also not a question for mathematicians and/or statisticians. This is simultaneously a medical and a personal question. Trust what you doctor says in terms of how likely you are to reinjure your ACL, but you have to ask yourself what is and what is not worth the injury. You can't lean on the crutch of statistics from mathematicians who are not in the position in which you find yourself. You have to understand that while sitting out a few games to avoid injury may put your starting position in jeopardy, playing immediately and permanently injuring yourself will stop you from playing forever. You have to weigh the options yourself, no one can make this decision but you. It's decisions like this that put you in charge of your life, don't ruin it by having us make it for you.

In my opinion, i would call an all hours vet and describe what's happening. I wouldn't look ahead to more solutions. They'll be in a position to get extra important points and extra specifics from you and be able to ask questions that would make or break it. In the event that they suppose it's pressing, then they will have you carry her in. If they do not, then they are going to ordinarily recommend that you just get her noticeable tomorrow via your ordinary vet. GL and i hope that dog is okay. : )
