Question:
Is there something out there that can replace or come close to the effects of taking Oxycodone 30 mg. pills?

I know that Oxycodone 30 mg. are the generic for vicadin. That is what I was told. Know my question is. I have a script for 30 a month. Basically one a day. Is there anything available that comes close to the pain relief I obtain from these Oxycodones that is not a narcotic and how would you get them? Also if there isn't is there any place that one could purchase Oxycodone online and is it legal. I heard people say that you can buy them online from other countries like in Sweden etc. and that it would not be illegal. That you would pay a fee for an online doctors consultation and then you could purchase your meds. The consult and meds would not be cheap but you could obtain the medication. The very important question is. Is it legal and are you violating any customs laws etc? The reason for this inquery is that the 30 pills prescribed are not enough to relieve my pain. So I am looking for other avenues to obtain a few more outside of my script at this time. I am a candidate for back surgery. I have genuine and legitimate pain. I am not just looking to buy pain meds to get high or abuse.

Thank you in advance.

First of all, oxycodone is not the generic for Vicodin. Vicodin contains hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Not oxycodone. Oxycodone is a Class II narcotic, and Vicodin is a Class III. Class II narcotics are much more regulated because of their higher abuse potential. Secondly, buying oxycodone from an online "doctor" is not only unwise, but is certainly illegal. In order to have a valid prescription for a Class II medication, you must be seen by a doctor to determine need and obtain a prescription that way. An online doctor in another country could really just be some guy in Jersey (or anywhere else in the world) selling you some generic Tylenol and calling them oxycodone. Or worse, could be selling you something way more harmful than Tylenol. The thing is, you never know about these things. They are not legitimate doctors, prescriptions, or even medications. You never really know what drug you're getting.

I would suggest that you discuss your pain with your doctor. If your pain is not being controlled with your current prescription, you should ask your doctor what to do. He/She is the one managing your care, and should be willing to adjust your dosage if you're not getting the relief you need.

Well, it really depends on your condition. An NSAID such as 200mg Ibuprofen (or two, if the pain is really bad) can be a good sub for a narcotic such as Vicodin.
