It is definitely possible. There are many causes of seizures following pregnancy (or during pregnancy). One condition is called eclampsia, and is described quite well on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eclampsia). However, the causes of eclampsia are not well understood, nor are the effects of hormones (like estrogen and progesterone) on epilepsy (search for epilepsy and pregnancy at www.pubmed.gov for research).
